Brainstorming how a character lives and how their space would look after decades of living in it was a creatively fulfilling conversation with James. I loved reflecting the character’s eccentric personality through colours and clutter to create a lived in feel. We aimed for cosy, colourful and fun, which we can see through the layers of textures and the accumulation of things. For me the little details mattered and it felt special having a Director who also appreciated the nitty gritty details.
